The Book of 2 John

1 chapter, 13 verses. "The elder" writes to "the elect lady and her children" — which may describe a Christian woman and her household or a local congregation pictured as a family. He rejoices to find them walking in the truth, repeats the commandment they have had from the beginning to love one another, and warns them not to lend hospitality or support to traveling teachers who deny that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
