Information we collect

When Disciple Journey opens the Bible Study for you, we store your email address and your display name if you provide one. As you study we store your notes, chapter progress, notification preferences, and — if you enable push notifications — the browser push subscription for the devices you approved.

If you choose to give, our payment processor collects your payment details. We store only the donation amount, currency, date, status, the testament or book your gift unlocked, and the processor's customer and transaction identifiers so we can match a gift to your account. We also keep a log of the emails we send you (template, recipient, delivery status) so we can diagnose delivery problems and honor unsubscribes. Basic technical data such as your IP address and browser user agent is processed by our hosting provider for security, and we record a rate-limit record when you use audio or AI-assisted features.

How we use it

We use your information to provide the study platform, keep your notes and progress available, determine which studies your account can read, send the emails and notifications you have opted into, and respond to support requests.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

Email and push notifications

We send transactional messages such as receipts and, if you opt in, announcements when a new book study is published along with occasional reminders. Every announcement email includes an unsubscribe link, and push notifications can be turned off in Disciple Journey or your browser.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers who make the platform work — hosting, database, email delivery, and payment processing — and only as needed to deliver those services, or where the law requires it.

Your choices

You can export or delete your notes, unsubscribe from announcements, or request deletion of your account and associated study data at any time by contacting us.

Children

The platform is intended for adults and older students. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
