The Book of Philemon

1 chapter. Paul writes from prison to a friend in Colossae about a man named Onesimus — a bondservant who had become separated from Philemon's household and had since come to faith. Setting aside his authority to command, Paul appeals for love's sake, offers to assume any debt owed, and asks Philemon to receive Onesimus back "no longer as a bondservant but more than a bondservant, as a beloved brother."
