The Book of Zechariah

Alongside Haggai, Zechariah calls a discouraged remnant to “Return to me.” Through night visions, a cleansed high priest, and a lampstand fed by oil, God assures His people that His work advances “not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit.” The book rises to the promise of a King who comes “humble and mounted on a donkey,” a shepherd who is struck, a people who look on the one they have pierced, and the day when the LORD will be king over all the earth.
